The idea for AnnuCal had been on founder Jan-Willem Wulff’s mind for years. Frustrated by the limitations of traditional calendar tools, he was looking for a clearer way to see and plan an entire year - starting with the year itself, not individual days or tasks. In 2022, he decided to finally bring that idea to life. Shortly after, he met developer Heinz Honhaiser, and together they built the first prototype in 2023. What began as a shared vision quickly turned into a concrete product.
