Plan Together: Share Your Yearly Plan with AnnuCal

Share a single calendar with other AnnuCal users, or share your whole year plan with anyone via a link. Built for families, teams, and long-term coordination.

AnnuCal gives you two ways to share, both found in the menu. You can share a single calendar with other AnnuCal users by inviting them in the app or by email - or you can share your entire year plan with anyone by generating a link. One is for collaborating inside a calendar; the other is for showing your whole year at a glance.

Sharing in AnnuCal is built around long-term clarity. Instead of passing around single events, you share the structure of the year - either one calendar within it, or the whole year at once.

Option 1: Share a single calendar (invite people)

You can share an individual calendar and invite people to it. This works with anyone who also has an AnnuCal account.

  • Directly in the app - add existing AnnuCal users in seconds.

  • By email invitation - send an invite so they can join the shared calendar.

You'll find this in the menu. Because a calendar holds your events, the people you invite see that calendar's events laid out across the year.

Option 2: Share your whole year plan (via link)

To share everything at once, generate a share link for your full year plan - in the same menu.

  • Anyone with the link can view your year across all 12 months - no AnnuCal account needed.

  • It's a view link: people see your plan without being able to change it.

This is the year-first way to share - the whole picture in a single view, instead of coordinating piece by piece.

Security & Control

Sharing a year only works when control stays clear.

  • Full ownership - you can revoke access, and disable a share link, at any time.

  • Flexible participation - invited users can remove a shared calendar from their account whenever they want.

Only the people you invite - or those you give the link to - can see your plan, and you always stay in charge of the structure.

Typical Use Cases for Shared Year Planning

Sharing in AnnuCal is ideal wherever long-term coordination matters:

  • Families - plan vacations, school breaks, holidays, and busy periods together.

  • Project teams - align absences, milestones, and workload across the entire year.

  • Schools & HR teams - coordinate exams, holidays, and vacation schedules with a clear yearly overview.

In all cases, the benefit is the same: everyone sees the same year.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the two ways to share a plan in AnnuCal? You can share a single calendar by inviting people to it (in the app or by email), or share your entire year plan with anyone by generating a link. Both options are in the menu.

Do people need an AnnuCal account to see what I share? For a shared calendar, yes - you invite existing AnnuCal users directly or by email. For a whole-year share link, no - anyone with the link can view your year without an account.

Can other people edit my plan? A year share link is view-only, so people can see your plan but not change it. For a shared calendar you stay in control and can revoke access at any time.

Can I share a single event? No. Sharing works at the calendar level or the whole-year level, not for individual events - so the people you share with always see the bigger structure, not just one entry.

Conclusion

With sharing, AnnuCal turns yearly planning into a shared experience.

Instead of coordinating piece by piece, you align around a common understanding of time - vacations, phases, availability, and priorities across the whole year.

Because planning together works best when everyone sees the year together.
