What are the three views of one year?

Year plan, Timeline and Orbit show the same entries in three ways. Switch between them at the top of the app, nothing is entered twice.

AnnuCal shows one year in three views. All three use the same calendars and entries. What you add in one view is in the other two right away.

Switch between the views

At the top of the app, click Year plan, Timeline or Orbit.

Year plan: the year on one screen

All twelve months next to each other, every entry a bar in the colour of its calendar. The year plan has three layouts. You switch between them with the three buttons at the top right, above the months:

  • Linear: every month is a row, the year runs from left to right.
  • Weekend: the weekdays line up in columns, so all weekends sit under each other.
  • Vertical: every month is a column, the days run from top to bottom.

Pick the layout that matches how you picture your year. Your entries stay the same.

Timeline: projects with your life above them

Your calendars run along a time axis at the top, your projects below them, with phases as bars and milestones as points. You zoom from a week to several years. Read more in How do I plan a project in the Timeline?

Orbit: the year as a ring

January at the top, the months clockwise, every calendar a ring of its own. Last year can be shown inside it, so you see what comes back every year. Read more in What does Orbit show?
