Why this template
Why use this planner?
For teachers and class teachers who want the whole school year at a glance - and the dates that cannot slip.
Try it in the demoA teacher’s year does not start in January. It starts a week before the first day of school, with the plan for the year, and ends with the reports in summer. In between: the parents’ evening, four class tests, the parent-teacher day, two grade deadlines with their conferences, the class trip and the project week. This template puts all of it on one line, counted from your first day of school - with the school holidays of your region above it.
- The school year from planning week to the last day, counted from your first day of school
- Class tests, grade deadlines and conferences as dates you cannot miss
- The class trip and the project week as the only bars - the weeks they really take
- Checklists for the planning, the parents’ evening, the class trip and the last day
- School holidays, family and private dates run above it on the Timeline

What is the Teacher School Year Planner?
It is a ready-made AnnuCal timeline template: one project from the planning week to the last day of school, with class tests, grade deadlines, conferences, the class trip and the project week. You pick your first day of school, load it, and move the dates to your school’s calendar.
My school year starts in August or September. Does the year view follow it?
Yes. In AnnuCal your year does not have to start in January - let it begin with the school year, and the year plan, the Timeline and Orbit show September to summer as one year.
Are the school holidays included?
Not in the project - they differ from region to region. Add the school holidays of your state or region as a calendar in the app, and they run above the school year on the Timeline.
I teach several classes. Can I plan each one?
Yes. Load the template once per class and rename the projects, or keep one project and add the class tests of every class as milestones.
Is this template free?
This template is a project on the Timeline, and projects are part of Pro. Every new account starts with 30 days of Pro, so you can load it right away; after the trial, Pro is €99 a year or €12.90 a month. On Free you can still try it in the demo.
Can I customize the template?
Yes. After loading, every phase and milestone is yours to move, rename, add to or delete - and you change the project’s name and colour in its panel.
